RAIJIN STORM

The ancient Japanese guardians of storms have never been this close to humans before, but they’re not about to pass up the opportunity to explore! Inquisitive and excitable, follow these playful characters as they channel thundering rhythms to entrance and delight audiences of all ages.

Performed by a cast of five artists the show, costumes and masks are inspired by the ancient Japanese folk character Raijin. Fully mobile and easily tailored to fit the available space, this unique medium-scale walkabout performance incorporates live original music and movement influenced by the Japanese cultural tradition of Taiko. The performance is dynamic, interactive and sometimes comic, incorporating the surrounding environment and audience into the story.
